A mesh leaf cover. Most people think that these mostly come in handy for fall, when the leaves are coming, but during summer, mesh covers can be a lifesaver! How? All of that grass! When you're mowing your grass so often, you're bound to get a lot of blades blown into the pool, and then you have to spend a lot of time and effort fishing them out. All of that grass can put a strain on your skimmer and filter, and you'll be cleaning out your skimmer basket more frequently. Mesh covers can keep the grass and other summer trimmings out of your water, and the cleanup is much easier. Just lift off the cover and you've removed all of the grass from your pool!

The most commonly used pool cleaners today are the suction-side driven and pressure side-driven cleaners. A more advanced option is the robotic pool cleaner. Older pools may still use a return-side pool cleaner. However, most people have switched to more modern types. A return-side cleaner requires a dedicated pump to work. It also needs large volumes of water, making it more high-maintenance. These factors have led to their decreasing popularity among consumers.

Coping is done to eliminate any sharp or pointy edges that might be present on your pool surfaces. Item#6 - Vacuum head - Once again this would be an optional item if you plan on using an automatic pool cleaner on a regular basis. If purchasing a vacuum cleaner head, choose one that is very flexible and has good quality wheels (concrete pools) or high quality brushed (vinyl liner pools).

This is one of the company's newest designs, and is a bit more technically advanced than the G3. It does not require the use of tools, as the suction and skimmer come with it. Like the G3, it only has one moving part. Therefore, you do not have to worry about things falling off and breaking.

Pool cleaners can be expensive, albeit generally they do the cleaning task well, ensuring clean, clear water and the balance of chemicals.
